The new exotics from this season aren't dropping from Strike Force. Wouldn't be surprising if the activity's loot pool was not updated for the new season's exotics. I recall various people saying they couldn't get new exotics to drop from strike force because they didn't own lightfall. This really shouldn't be the case, but even one guy said he ran countless events owning all DLCs except lightfall and nothing would drop. He then bought lightfall and they all started dropping immediately.
