I have reloaded 7/8 and 9/8 loads and they work fine with same components and powders, but I favor the 1 oz, 8's, 7-1/2 or duplex loads, 50/50 mix. I have also found E3 and Promo excellent powders when I could not get my favorite Hodgdon powders.That being said, I am looking for a powder/ load data that will allow me to use a cheddite primer and a CB1118-12 wad with 1 1/8 oz of shot in a Remington hull. You could load just about anything you want using only Titewad and Federal and Win primers. Use the Feds in the lighter loads and the Wins in the heavier loads.
