Gamma's weapon, armor and progression systems are the core of what makes gamma good imo. GAMMA is large collection of mods, not a single mod... so that makes it different than "just any other freeplay mod". So it is probably most extensivelly modified stalker to date. I would not say better, just more.

You can craft an advanced toolkit, but it requires 5 basic toolkits to make an advanced one. I suggest looking in stashes in yantar, wild territory, darkscape, or army warehouses for the advanced toolkits. Search red forest and anything north of red forest for expert toolkits.
