Nov 2, 2023 · I've only handled the P before but was leaning towards the C2 until tonight when I uses handgunhero's comparison tool to see the size difference. And for what actually matters for AIWB concealment - it doesn't look like there's any perceivable difference at all in the grip length.

Staccato is well worth the price tag, and shoots smooth, flat, and quick in comparison. Trigger is also in my op better than the Prodigy. I ended up purchasing a C2 after selling the Prodigy. However I don’t think the prodigy is awful, it’s definitely a good 2011 gun for the price, just think it’s not on the same tier, build wise. Staccato C2. Staccato P questions vs CZ Shadows. I was excited to rent out a Staccato P at the range today and compare it to my CZ Custom Shadow 1. Was slightly disappointed. I felt that the trigger wasn't any nicer than the tuned trigger of my Shadow, nor did it feel much better in the hand. Maybe the finish was a tad better.

Own a C2 and the Bul SAS II UL. Both are outstanding and I wouldn’t consider getting rid of either. However if I had to pick just one I would go with the Bul. It’s just so light and just as accurate as my C2 and at only $1,500 you get a lot for the money. The P definitely feels luxurious compared the C2, but keep in mind the C2 has an aluminum frame so the metal on metal surfaces will feel slightly different than the steel on steel rails of the P. I dont think its necessarily a flaw. Between the two, I would choose the C2. Its just the perfect all around gun. Lightweight and accurate as shit. Staccato threw out the two-part model and went with three. The slide is steel. The frame has been split into separate forward and grip components — metal and polymer. Compared to a polymer, striker-fired gun, this might seem outrageous, but in the world of higher-end 1911s it’s entry-level to average. Overall: 5/5. This is an outstanding firearm.

Price wise, my C2 DPO was about $2500 OTD with the option to mount an optic & three 16 round mags. My Wilson was $2950 OTD with no optic option & two 15 round mags. Although Staccato mags are almost double the cost of Wilson ... The Staccato P is the best shooting gun of the bunch, by far. The Wilson's are really well made, and shoot slightly harsher than the CS. My ported Zev is +/- the CS, edge possibly going to the CS.
