They just install the sensors.There is no button to do a reset. You will need to fill the tire up, then drive the car to get the light to go off, if it doesn't go off, then there is a problem with one of the sensors or the module itself. As long as you use the same 4 sensors, and the batteries in each sensor don’t die, there is no need to reset the TPMS. Rotating the tires doesn’t matter to the TPMS, the system just needs to find the same 4 sensors to work. At least that’s my understanding of how the Subaru TPMS works.
