The throttle body is a part of the ESC system, and if any part of the system shows a fault, the ESC is automatically disabled. The problem will probably come back after a while. .Treegrower. Ended up replacing the throttle body, and battery since it was the original figured it was time. After this car started but still had the etc light.I had the comp. say throttle position sensor and after I replaced it no change, replaced it again, no change. Replaced the o2 sensors, no change. Finally took it to the dealership. Found out it was the clockspring behind the steering column. Believe it or not, If it gets shorted out it will send a code for TPS.2014 no heat. The jeep has be come a backup vehicle and doesn't get used very often. I drive it once a week. With drop in temp I tried turning on the heat. There isn't any. It just blows cool air. These a the three places I can think to check. temp blend door actuator. Check for switch signal and try to override.Now on the right side of the throttle body is a black steel bracket. I loosened the 12mm bolt holding the bracket to give me more clearance removing the TB. IThe connector is rather simple, push the tabs on either side and wiggle it free. Then reverse to install.
