Fallout 4. Hello there! I have recently started to Play Fallout 4 on my Xbox. I had installed a mod that replaces the traditionale Pip boy with a tablet. While using first person this really screwed wirh my Character model ( made his arm look very thin in comparison to everything else) wich i didnt like. So i deleted the mod to fix this.Adds a craftable Arm Item to cover up that Pipboy Gap at some Armors. The Item can be crafted at the Armor and Weapon Keywords Community Resource (AWKCR) Workbench. The Item uses Slot 51 for Rings. So you can't use a Ring and this Item at the same Time. If you drop the PIP-Pad visible Arm Item it will look like a Ring. My Pip-Boy is permanantly invisible. I can still open up the pip boy and mvoe around in the menus and select stuff like normal but I only have audio cues to go off on as the entire thing is invisible. The one in the power armor is still visible but you can hardly do anything while inside the armor. I've tried pretty much every thing people have ... An alternative fix for the invisible Pip-Boy bug is to use the console to equip, and then un-equip all power armor in the game, and the reequip the Pip-Boy. As follows: Equip then remove all the available power armors: player.equipitem 3e577 The vanilla pip boy is an equipable that just doesn't show in your inventory; mods like pip pad that remove it from when they take away that item. Installed Pip-Pad, Pip-Boy still visible on arm. I reinstalled the game and mods recently (after a year or so of not playing), and I cannot recall how to hide the Pip-Boy without outright removing it (which also removes the Pip-Pad). I remember briefly seeing people talking about that problem at the mod page.

Posted April 3, 2016. I have a piece of Chameleon armor as well as a few Stealth Boys under my belt, but one of the most annoying things about being invisible is trying to read the Pip-Boy. The white text against glaring bright green highlights is painful and sometimes even impossible to read, and the map is just one big eye-burning rectangle.

From my experience, the Pip-Boy only becomes entirely invisible if you just crouched or stopped moving right before using your Pip-Boy. It is likely a bug, where you're seeing the Pip-Boy's transitional state between being visible and invisible.
