After pick up rode on lake for 10 minutes, received oil alarm and code p1520. Secured engine, lit it off, rode it up to 3500 rpms, same result, oil light, alarm and code p1520. Try removing it and then cleaning the end. There is a possibility that it is just stuck also. You can't just unplug or unbolt the knock sensor. The engine is constantly advancing and retarding timing and listens for it to start to knock (voltage signal changes) and then will back off the timing. If the sensor never detects knock, it will throw a code. Swapping the sensor out for a resistor is a very bad idea.

I have a problem with my seadoo rxt , year 2005 . When i'm cruising at constant rpm , 3500rpm , the engine goes in limp mode , and a have the p1202 fault code. I have changed both oil sensors and tops valve but the engine does the same thing.I have checked the wiring , i have 12v on tops valve . if i'm driving it at high rpm it doesn't do this ...My 2008 SeaDoo GTI has a fault code, PO344 now, Cam Sensor Signal Missing. I changed the cam sensor but the fault code stayed on. I took it to a dealer thinking that they could clear the code. They tried another sensor and the code is still on.
