Honestly ginger island didn't blow me away either. I just ended up using the wiki/YouTube to do a lot. One aspect I really liked is the dig site, being able to get the bones for fertilizer and the extra clay was nice. I like the golden walnuts but it was definitely challenging, I used the parrot a lot to give hints too.
