I just printed something with Cura Tree support enabled. It handled so much better the support than this new Organic support, in Cura it needed only one tree to accomplish all where support was needed (only 4 point on the print) where in this new alpha, prusa slicer makes 3 tree support for these 4 point on the print..i've mostly left mine alone. for things i really need clean undersides on i remove the top interface layers, but most of my stuff has been functional PETG prints so surface quality isnt as much an issue. I'm 4h into a 24h print using organic supports, avoid curling overhangs, extra permieters on overhangs and dynamic overhang speed. It's overall only about an hour faster estimated time than it was with 2.5, but the quality due to the overhang changes is a major improvement.

I made my object a modifier so it could float above the placeholder object. That’s not the alpha, supports have always done that in PRUSA slicer. It’s just more noticeable now with organic supports as they tend to be located outside the model more. Every object is sliced independently, so you can place 2 objects overlapping and it will do the same.
