If the radiator is full of coolant, the problem is most likely the thermostat. The fan switch is in the radiator, so it does not get hot enough to kick on when the thermostat is stuck shut. Given the age, I would suggest checking the coolant circulation after a new thermostat is installed.

I have taken the following off the list. -No fuel in tank. -Fuel broken down (used stabilizer)That is the one you need. Fan switch is usually bigger then temp sensor so you can't miss it. As for the test itself, fill the pot with water and gradually rise the temperature of it, while at the same time the switch is in the water itself (only the temperature sensing part of it, of course) and hand tester is connected on switch leads.Remove the gas tank cover.
