On my LS430 it’s on the driver’s side rear axle just behind brakes. My symptoms were the AFS light would flash all the time independent of the AFS off switch setting. I am going to respond to my own question to share what I have learned today. There are 2 things that need to be reset after disconnecting or replacing the battery. 1. Each window has to be reset. To accomplish this, start the vehicle and roll each window down and hold for 1 second.
