I have a shockwave sbs. Sits right around 31-32in. It’s 1in longer than my 11.5 ar with stock fully extended. It’s easy to swing around the house. I’ve shot at clays a few times with my sbs. It’s definitely at a huge disadvantage past 20 yards. It’s cool at 14 but for sex factor I want a 10in kitI have an 12.5" 870 that is a registered SBS. I took it rabbit hunting a couple times. Configured with a pistol grip, it is smaller than a Shockwave. Fun. Managed to kill a few bunnies. That sounds to me like the best way to hunt with something like this. I've got two 14 inch barreled 12 gauges, an 18 inch 20 gauge, and a Judge.Problems: -they are all made for the longer action tube on the Mossbergs, the shockwave uses a shorter action tube. -they are not made for the heavy barrels and require fitting on the upper edges in order to move past the half way mark in the stroke. -they dont have a strap built in to keep your hand from disappearing when it crosses the muzzle.

Jan 9, 2019 · All a shockwave or others (Remington TAC-13 is easy to shoot) does is save a tax stamp. Lacking a buttstock, it isn't as easy to shoot. A SBS is better for HD. In the case of the TAC-13, it is only a six shot. All very short range and hardly high capacity: 6 shot in the case of the TAC-13, with low velocity due to the 13 inch barrel. Very interested in this thread. I have an older 870 that's already SBS'd with a 12" barrel, thought about turning it into a 6-7" super shorty/breacher as discussed here but don't have the tools to do it. It would be nice if you could find serbu shorty kits or older MCS type kits for your SBS.
