Bowfa zulrah.
The crystal bow is also incredibly powerful once you obtain a full set of crystal armor. It’s worse. MSB and blowpipe are king when it comes to low def. This does assume rune arrows in the msb, I’m unsure about broad arrows. Broad arrows are really bad, so a crystal bow will blow msb/broads out of the water.
bowfa > dwh > trident > Zulrah = CoX (magic fang important in general, serp good in general, bp still important at TOB, rigour quite needed, augury needed for freeze role at TOB but otherwise is nice for cox/zulrah) Once you have Rigour you can do TOBBowfa can do anything, you can literally just Bowfa only Zulrah and it's piss easy. It'll fall over in less than 2 minutes, and you can bring more supplies not having to switch. It lets you do raids with little investment, even if your only 'expensive' item is the Bowfa - that'll be more than enough.Seeing how it's currently pretty low, I was wondering if now's the right time to buy. Thralls, I do Bowfa only Zulrah with Serpentine Helm and thralls summon for maximum laziness while on mobile. Thralls don't really speed up my kills in a way that I can feel, but they do really make my kills more consistent since I'm not using a mage switch. The little bit of extra damage smooths out the rng of doing ranged only.However, I can confidently say that the Crystal bow with Crystal armour is perfectly serviceable. Nothing ground breaking, but going from 5+ minute zulrah kills with a 4way switch to just using the Crystal bow and pulling 2-3 minute kills is quite nice. The ACB WITHOUT a Twiested Buckler deals better DPS than the Bowfa making Bowfa useless at Nex. The T bow is only a +0.03 DPS difference compared to the ACB (with Twisted buckler) so you are better off using a crossbow regardless. Your trips will last a lot longer. T bow is amazing on minions , blood reavers, and when Nex is below 400 HP though.
Gz on the kill! There is a DPS check aspect to zulrah that cg doesn't really have. If your stats are decent then go there now and don't lose time with the snake, it doesn't really matter because you'll destroy him with a bowfaAll this is to say, the most important thing about learning Zulrah is to not get discouraged. This is a difficult and punishing boss to learn, especially if you're doing it without access to a trident or other important pieces of gear. Bowfa with crystal armor at zulrah is actually quicker than the blowpipe/mage switch because of its accuracy and if it's a slayer task and you use slayer helm(i) is even better especially for mid level players. Of your stats are 90 or better then bowfa/crystal armor with a mage switch will give you quicker kills but less kills per trip, bowfa ...I've read a lot about bowfa zulrah being chill, so people usually recommend grinding gauntlet first. I just went straight full crystal + bowfa + venga/cure me. That setup makes range only Zulrah viable and pretty chill since you don't have to switch gear.
