They are similar enough that you should have no problem figuring it out. Basically you need to take off the barrel. then push out the two push pins.Bought a Remington Sportsman 48 (16 gauge) from a guy at work, got it cheap because it wouldn't cycle shells out. I tore it down (pulled the bolt and the trigger) and cleaned it, now it cycles sometimes and sometimes it doesn't. I'm not sure how this shotgun is supposed to work, the barrel seems to float with the action.

The thing about the Sportsman 48 compared to my Auto-5 is that the Remington buttstock end is dimensionally smaller than the Browning (both are 12 ga.).
