As I have no practice or hands on experience with either some first hand advice would be invaluable in making my purchase decision. Not looking or expecting an increase in accuracy just make the rifle more user friendly and function better.

The Oryx was first, and then the KRG Bravo- which the rifle still has. The Oryx is heavier, owing to the completely aluminum skeleton, and it feels more like a precision rifle chassis. The XRAY and Bravo have options for hooks, stops, or bag riding toes and the grip area feels much better out of the box. As much as I hate to admit it, the KRG Whiskey/X-ray/Alpha chassis's are probably my favorite over the MDT/Oryx stuff. I have a BRN-1 chassis, an LSS-XL, Savage factory chassis, and an XRS.

For bench work I prefer the MDT. Both have adjustable combs but the MDT starts in a lower position. If you look at pictures of the KRG you'll see a cutout for bolt removal. MDT doesn't need this because of the lower comb.
