This is not because getting off waitlist is rare, but because the number of people getting off wl varies A LOT. Like in 2014, about 20 people on waitlist got in eventually (and there was even an extended waitlist), but in 2015 nobody on waitlist got off the list. That's being said, every year's stats depends on the vacancy of attended students.
