MotherOfTwo - My son loves Kenyon. He has made quite a few friends and really enjoys his classes. We live in a very large city and being in rural Ohio seems to be fine with him. Kenyon did a great job of making him feel wanted. The honor scholarship he received was substantial and for four years. I agree with @Motherprof. I think the drinking/party reputation is both exaggerated and outdated. There is drinking on every campus, including at Kenyon, but certainly no more there than at any other peer college. Years ago most of the social life was centered around frat parties, but the Greek influence has diminished dramatically over time. Our daughter spends most of her free time hanging ...
