Look at where the hole are for the mounting screws. They are quite a bit different. The 67 only has two holes on the bottom for mounting and the 68 has three. Be aware that from flange to flange the monte rear end is about an inch wider than your '67 rear end. And I seem to remember something about the spring pad being either slightly different.
